Please read these terms carefully before using any FORGETECH Company Limited website, product, platform or service.

Version: 1.0•Updated: September 2026•FORGETECH Company Limited
Important notice about our independence

FORGETECH is an independent private technology company based in Ghana. We are not a government ministry, public authority, healthcare provider or educational institution unless an official relationship is expressly announced.

1. Acceptance and scope

These Terms govern use of FORGETECH Company Limited websites, platforms, products and services, including Docta and UniGuide, unless a separate agreement or product-specific terms apply.

By using a service, you confirm that you have legal capacity and accept the applicable terms.

2. Services, projects and changes

Features, timelines, deliverables, prices and responsibilities for client work are defined in the relevant proposal, quotation, statement of work or contract.

We may improve or change a product for security, performance, compliance or technical development, with reasonable notice where a material change requires it.

3. Accounts, payments and responsibilities

You must provide accurate information, protect credentials and notify us of unauthorised use.

Fees, refunds, taxes, renewals and payment conditions are stated at purchase or in the applicable agreement. Payment providers may apply separate terms.

4. Acceptable use and security

You must not use our services for fraud, harassment, impersonation, unlawful content, security circumvention, malware, unauthorised data access or system disruption.

We may suspend access to protect users, investigate incidents, meet legal obligations or prevent harm.

6. Intellectual property and copyright

FORGETECH trademarks, interfaces, text, graphics, software, code, documentation, databases and other materials are protected under applicable rights, including the Copyright Act, 2005 (Act 690), subject to third-party rights and client agreements.

No person may copy, sell, republish, reverse engineer, bypass licensing, remove ownership notices or commercially exploit protected materials without authorisation.

We may request takedown, suspend an account, preserve evidence, pursue available civil remedies or report suspected offences to competent authorities. Penalties are determined by law and courts—not by this website.

7. Client content, confidentiality and custom work

You retain rights in data and content you provide, while granting the limited permission necessary to deliver, secure and support the requested service.

Ownership of code, reusable components, deliverables and transferred rights in custom projects depends on the applicable written agreement. Confidential information may be used only for the authorised relationship.

8. Product-specific notices

Docta is not a substitute for emergency services, medical diagnosis or clinical care. In immediate danger, contact appropriate emergency services.

UniGuide provides technology-enabled assistance and cannot guarantee admission, examination results or decisions made by universities or third parties.

HelpFundMe facilitates campaigns and donations but cannot guarantee a campaign’s absolute truth, success or future use of funds. Users should review available information before contributing.

9. IoT and connected technologies

Sensor data may contain errors or depend on incomplete inputs. It should be independently checked where an important decision is involved.

Connected systems also depend on power, networks, devices, providers and client configuration.

10. Availability, warranties and liability

We aim to provide reliable services but do not promise uninterrupted availability, complete freedom from errors or a particular business outcome unless specifically agreed in writing.

To the extent permitted by law, each party remains responsible for its own decisions, content, configuration and obligations. Nothing excludes mandatory rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Incidents, complaints and enforcement

Suspected attacks against our systems, users, reputation, data or intellectual property may be investigated, preserved as evidence, suspended and reported to competent authorities or courts.

Suspected fraud, intrusion, extortion, impersonation, sabotage, data offences or infringement may result in civil or criminal remedies available under law. We do not declare anyone guilty without appropriate legal process.

Report abuse, vulnerabilities or complaints to us so we can investigate and attempt to resolve the matter.

12. Governing law, changes and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, subject to applicable mandatory rights. Disputes fall within competent Ghanaian courts unless a binding rule or agreement provides otherwise.

We may update these Terms, and material changes may receive additional notice.
